Ist the AGR seal of approval right for you?
You produce and distribute back-friendly products?
Ergonomics is important to you in the development of your products?
You make the lives of your customers better with your products?
Then make it clear to everyone with the AGR seal of approval
Back pain is the number one health problem – and the market for ergonomic products is growing accordingly.
It is becoming increasingly difficult for manufacturers to credibly set themselves apart from the competition with products that are genuinely back-friendly.
The AGR seal of approval was created over 30 years ago precisely for this purpose:
It recognises products that have been proven to promote back health – tested by an independent, interdisciplinary panel of experts.
For you as a manufacturer, this means: verifiable quality that builds trust.
The AGR seal of approval is awarded exclusively to products that have been assessed as being particularly back-friendly. To carry out this assessment, the professional associations ‘Forum Gesunder Rücken – besser leben e. V.’ and the ‘Bundesverband deutscher Rückenschulen e. V.’ set up an independent assessment panel comprising various health experts.

First exchange
During a joint meeting, we analyse the product, target group and health benefits. In doing so, we clarify which ergonomic characteristics are to be assessed and what evidence is already available.
Pre-examination
Our experts carry out a preliminary check to determine whether your product meets the basic requirements for the quality mark assessment. This involves evaluating the design, ergonomics and existing evidence. If there is a need for optimisation, you will receive specific recommendations.
Seal of approval test
During the main assessment, the product is comprehensively evaluated by independent experts. Among other things, ergonomics, user-friendliness, health benefits and existing scientific evidence are assessed. The product is put through practical tests and documented in detail.
Award
You’ve done it! Your product has been awarded the AGR seal of approval. Use the AGR seal of approval, for example, in sales materials, on your website, on social media channels or directly on the product itself, and make it clear: this product supports ergonomic and back-friendly use!
